Heritage and History

Palladium Group is one of the oldest real estate firms. It was founded in northern Italy around 1870 to build residential centers in the vicinity of new industrial activities. The intentions were – even then – of ‘social responsibility': building to promote the welfare of workers by improving their living environment.

Its history will continue with continuity of activities and intent, for over 150 years until present day, and can be summarized into five ‘epochs’, each one characterized by a specific developmental dimension.

1921-1946

After the 1^stWorld War, the need is to reconstruct homes, churches and infrastructure. Palladium chooses the path of internationalization – another element of its identity – and dedicates itself to the east of France, evolving into construction and public works company.

Also the classic job of builder for hire changes: Palladium invests in building its own residential properties for rent, the protagonist of an emerging market of real estate.

1947-1970

The third phase in the history of the Group coincides once again with the need to rebuild – and rethink – the cities devastated by World War II. Palladium must interpret at the same time the new rules of a market where investors, bankers and real estate agents enter the field, bearing a new logic based on the priority value in the short term.
Against the statement of specialists – builders, developers, managers, financiers – Palladium decides to serve ‘the cause of housing’ devoting itself to all the various facets of entrepreneurship. This also becomes a hallmark of what is now the Palladium Group.

1971-2000

The fourth epoch sees – starting from the Seventies – the settlement of Palladium in other European countries, such as Belgium, Switzerland and the Netherlands, thus making the Group a reality ‘without borders': being at the service of the construction knows no administrative or linguistic barriers, by interpreting at the same time each local situation in harmony with its specific needs, whether it’s housing, tourist accommodations, offices or shopping centers.

2001-Today

In the 2000s, the Group consolidates its presence in Germany; it is now one of the few European real estate companies serving ‘the cause of housing’ even beyond the continental borders: the new office in Dallas will represent the base of operations and at the same time an important observatory of American International market.

The future

The future? The ‘sixth epoch’ will see Palladium Group still dedicated to meet the vital needs of men, women and towns, anticipating at least the vision of three generations, and opening itself to new horizons: the Middle East with a new office in Dubai, London and Eastern Europe, countries in rapid economic and social development that can benefit from our expertise and our commitment to their daily welfare.
